Director Kurt posted on Facebook Thursday, December 12, 2023 at 8:00am:

Good morning Thunder Riders,
I meant to put this up earlier, so I apologize for the short notice.
With some of the ride/event options that are happening on Saturday we either need to see about having our meeting start around 9:30, or forgo the meeting and make some decisions through chats. We have a decision to make about charitable contributions this year so that our Treasurer can write the necessary checks.
We plan to disburse a total of $1500 dollars, and were thinking we would do that in $500 increments to three causes. Let's get those choices out there and make some decisions to best help out where we can.
Kevin added the list of items being brought by TT for the Christmas Party, and we can also contribute to that as well. CP is working on the main course options and we will work with him to cover the cost for us from Chapter funding.
Again, sorry for the short notice on things but I hope everyone receives this well and we can get some things situated so everyone can ride, or attend events, that are happening this Saturday and the next.

If the weather prevents us from doing the ride, we can caravan to a nearby restaurant. In the past going to Top Dawg Tavern has be good.
People that can't make the meeting, but want to do the ride can meet at the HOG room at 11:00am. Non HOG members can do the ride (on any brand of bike or 3 wheeler) they just need to sign a waiver beforehand. SO INVITE YOUR FRIENDS, NO MATTER WHAT THEY RIDE, AND LET THEM SEE THE FUN HARLEY OWNERS HAVE. To be participate in an official HOG ride, guests will need to sign a waiver prior to the ride. There can be one guest rider per HOG member. We usually have several members on a ride.

If your bike is in the shop, etc, you can follow the group in your car if you want to join us for lunch.
Please have full tanks for the start of the ride. It is the policy of this chapter to include fuel stops if needed for bikes with the smaller tanks. Rides may include limited time on the Interstate, however preference is given to remaining on smaller highways and back roads. Input on the route is welcome at the meetings.

The chapter follows the 50/50 rule for rides. That means if the temperature is below 50 or the rain chance is greater that 50%, the official ride may be cancelled.
