From the Wreaths Across America Website:
On December 14, 2024 (Wreath Placement Immediately Following Ceremony), at 12:00pm, we will be having our 15th annual Fort Jackson National Cemetery Wreaths Across America Ceremony. Please help us by sponsoring a wreath and join us to Remember and Honor our Veterans by placing Memorial Wreaths on the graves of our country’s fallen heroes and saying their name aloud. You may not know this, but… A Veteran Dies Twice… First when they draw their last breath… and Again, when their name is spoken for the last time. Please come and help us keep their spirit alive. You do not have to volunteer to attend the ceremony or place wreaths. Everyone is welcome and will have the opportunity to place wreaths!
Parking will be at the Blue Cross Blue Shield Parking lot on Percival Road across from the cemetery. There will be Volunteers there to direct you to the shuttle buses that will bring you to and from the cemetery starting at 10:30am the morning of the ceremony. Handicapped with proper ID will be allowed to park in the designated area with in the cemetery. Please follow the directions given by our Traffic Control Volunteers.
